Sold pending inspection a beautiful Browning Diana Grade in 12 gauge with 30 inch barrels and the thin vent rib. The chokes are marked modified and full and measure exactly that, with .723 bore on the bottom barrel and .020 of constriction and .725 on the top barrel and .040 of constriction. The wood on the flat knob, short tang, butt stock is drop dead gorgeous and the dimensions are standard Browning at 1 1/2 X 2 1/2 X 14 1/4 over the original Browning pad. Gun has the popular field style forend in perfect condition. This is a 1970 year production gun and there is no sign of salt anywhere on the gun including the screws in the pad. Gun weighs 7 pounds 13 ounces and balances very nicely with the 30" barrels. Engraving is very nice as you can see in the photos and is signed LaCampo. This gun is in wonderful condition and the only thing keeping this gun from being totally original condition is the barrel has been reblued at some point and the lettering on the left side of the barrel is light. The bluing itself looks original but the lettering is a giveaway. If you ever wanted a Diana grade at a price that you could afford to shoot this is the one. Gun is extremely clean and only the very lightest of handling marks can be found. I would easily call the gun 98% condition, even the gold trigger shows no wear. Price of the gun is $4950 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. I don't believe you can find a Diana grade in this condition anywhere close to this price. Contact me at [email protected] with any questions you might have.

This is a very nice Browning. If you ever wanted a Diana at a very good price this may be the one for you. This is a no surprise gun.

There is often discussion about the luxury shotgun market being "SOFT."

The fact that this lovely Browning Superposed hasn't yet been sold is solid evidence that the recession has indeed taken its toll on luxury gun sales. A few years ago, this shotgun waould been grabbed up quickly.

A few years ago you would not have seen it priced as it is either. Jeff

I agree, three years ago this would have been $1000 more. If anyone ever wanted a really pretty gun to shoot this would be the one. Put a set of choke tubes in it and you would have a great sporting clays gun, better looking than most out there for a very reasonable price.

Guns don't bring anywhere close to their value here. Have sold guns on Gunbroker for 20-25% more than offered here with no takers. Fact of life.

Gun Broker has no idea of the value of a piece like this
If you like that sort of thing. I dont like the auction type thing.
