My Mother in Law lives in Panama City and waiting for it. I have two inches on the ground and 20 degrees on top of a mountain in North Georgia. Four more inches coming and it's snowing hard!

Its bad enough we (northern States) have to live with the Polar Vortex but I would imagine that quite a few people in the Southern States aren't equipped for the freezing weather.

This is below our mountain in Northern Georgia. My wife couldn't make it up the initial slope so we had to park her Fusion below our mountain on flat land. 4 inches in our driveway and more to come. Welcome to the sunny South.

I was stationed in MD in 60-61. Got a kick out of the folks there, when it snowed a few flakes they closed everything, the base, schools, most workplaces and the main highways you had to have either snowtires or chains. Coming from northern NY it was a farce but they had no experience driving in snow and no equipment to handle it.
