Hi All-

Is anyone here going to this shoot in July? I have visited the site but I can't find a way to get a program or any information about it, can someone here tell me a bit about it. Can anyone participate? I am an ATA member and will love to shoot it. Also, do you have to shoot all 4 days or can you just shoot over the weekend.

I am relative new shooter, started back in September but caught the bug and love to compete.

thanks

The "dollar" is GREAT! ----But----Don't for get that Mississippi wild hold the zone in Biloxi with catered breakfast and lunch FREE for all shooters.
We are six miles from the gulf coast, casinos, excellent food choices, plenty of hotels at all price levels, lots to do after the shooting day ends.
Give us a look. We have more to offer and we will not dissapoint you!
My Best

Thank you for the replies, as I mentioned I am a new shooter and I have some questions on the program.

1. Open options
- You have to pay this if you want to participate in the purse?
- this is not necessary to get a class trophy- right?

2. Do you shoot all shots in a row? Meaning I am shooting the 100 singles on Friday, do you shoot that in 4 consecutive rounds? or do multiple squads trade rounds?

3. is there a place at the Dollar for non-shooters to relax and watch the shoot? Preferably under AC ;-)

thanks

Happy to chime in here.
1. Options are NOT mandatory, but you have to pay in order to participate in the purses. Trophies (including cash trophies) are awarded out of the event entry fees everyone pays to shoot the event.
2. Shooters complete the event without a stop. You will shoot all 4 25's, or both 50's in doubles with only a short break to wipe sweat and get more shells. This may be different than what you are used to if you shoot at a small club like I do.
3. The Dollar has a great club house with ac, food, television and lots of friendly folks. So does Coast Rifle and Pistol.

Have a great time!!

I’m pretty sure the handicap event on Thursday won’t start until around noon. According to the program Friday’s events will be Doubles first followed by handicap and singles. If you want to shoot both singles and caps on Friday plan on being there until 4-5 o’clock.

I will be there... I have been shooting the big 50 to get the 1000 targets to stay at the 20 yard line in handicap. You need to read the rules about handicap and doubles... if your new and have not shot a certain amount you have to shoot at a different yardage or class for doubles... Like I said please read the ata rule book for I am not the rule book keeper.
