I have a delrin add-on rib I made for myself a couple years ago. I lightly sanded it at the time, but I still get quite a bit of glare off it from time to time in the sun. I want to do something about it over the winter. Worse case I'll probably just sand blast it, but have thought about checkering it as well, much the same way as the factory kolar rib that it covers.

Would the checkering be done in the same manner as gunstock checkering, with the same tools? Seems pretty straightforward, just a little time consuming...

You could paint it with flat black wrinkle paint. Might look pretty cool.

skeet_man- Hand cutting straight lines on a long narrow surface is very difficult. It is a quick job with a good mill. Sandblasting is quick and easy.
