Shell Catcher for Fabarm XLR5 Velocity AR?

I have been using a T&S shell catcher for singles and handicap trap with my Fabarm XLR5 for the past 5 months and during each round of 25 I am experiencing 1 to 3 shot hulls oriented backwards in the chamber after firing. I have to dig them out with my index finger and it disrupts the flow of the squad. I have positioned the catcher per the manufacturer's instructions and everywhere else and still receive the same result. Am shooting Federal Top Gun 2 3/4' 1 oz, 8 factory target loads. Has anybody experienced this same issue? Any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated as I like the gun, but do not want to be disruptive to the squad and possibly injure an index finger during the removal process.

I get an occasional hull reversed in my 1100 Rem., so I carry a small hooked tool I got at Harbor Freight to snag it and pull it out, or at least up where I can grab it. The tool is like a tiny ice pick with the point a hook. I found that my fat fingers were not suitable to response to the situation.

I use a left handed wire shell catcher from Birchwood Casey on my XLR5. Same problem with reversed shells once in a while, especially heavy loads for Handicap. Getting the hull out is no problem, because I simply flip the wire down and the hull comes right out if I turn the gun over. TS catcher does not work on the left handed XLR5.
