lead verb

Definition of LEAD

transitive verb

1a : to guide on a way especially by going in advance

b : to direct on a course or in a direction

c : to serve as a channel for <a pipe leads water to the house>

LED noun

Definition of LED

: a semiconductor diode that emits light when a voltage is applied to it and that is used especially in electronic devices (as for an indicator light)

It would appear there are more than one example of ignorant, wouldn't you say Primed.

"Led" is also a verb. It is the past tense and past perfect tense of "Lead"

1. To take or bring "The prisoners were led into the warden's office"

2. To command or direct "He led the allied forces during the war"

Just curious ink ball but do you find anything in that statement that would lead you to think it was in the past tense???

No...In that specific example, the verb "lead" is being used in the present progressive tense, and as such, the correct spelling would still be " led", not "lead".

Ahem.....

Please, google the perfect, imperfect, present perfect, pluperfect and gerund of the verb "lead".......

ink ball is correct the present progressive (gerund) is "led."

Now, why are we trying to posture? A need to establish dominance? A need to regain the illusion of control over our lives?

What drives this pissing contest?

Saw on the news last night that a bookie in a foreign country, was already paying off bets that the GOP will win the majority, and take over the House and Senate in 2011.

If I heard it correctly, he paid off early on the Obama election in 2008, and another major political upset.

Any comments?
