While I consider myself a trap shooter, several of my friends shoot skeet and I would like to occasionaly join them. On a Win. M12, does a field stock have the same dimensions as a skeet stock or is that a different animal? I would not mind buying a spare stock and shooting an IC choke at the birds.

I have sporting clays stock same basic as field I shoot skeet and other sports with it

Many skeet shooters prefer to shoot skeet with a trap stock. HMB

Pretty much the same. It will be a flat shooter, and some like to see the target break. That's why the Citori's and other skeet guns are regulated at the factory to shoot 60/40. I like the factory sight picture.
