There is a local guy here that is going to sell his Sako Vixen .223 rifle. I've not seen it yet but he told me he bought it new in 1967 and has shot a total of 10 shots with it. Has Sako rings and a Redfield scope that he bought with the gun. He says the gun is as new.
Anyone have an idea what this might be worth?

.

Is it a single-shot or a repeater ?

If my memory is working, the Vixen was available either way.

Believe the sporter barrel model had a hooded front sight and a removable rear sight that mounted on the action.

I have Vixens in 222 Remington and 222 Remington Magnum.

He told me it was a 23½" sporter barrel and it is a repeater. Didn't think to ask about sights.
