Halfmile hit the nail on the head. We had one of those anti-gun female base commanders at Millington, TN and she closed down the skeet and pistol range. Not only are many of the female officers anti-gun, they also tend to be Bulls. Up is down and down is up these days.

The company I work for is a general contractor/ construction management firm. We only bid on govenment/ military projects. We are privy to a few websites and auto-email sites that send out projects world-wide for military, VA, Homeland Security and National Park construction projects. These auto-emails come multiple times a day with dozens of projects coming up for bid.

Just yesterday, a project popped up for an Air force base in Midwest,(not Scott). The project was for building a new athletic building with locker rooms, indoor pool and track and included a new, lighted softball field complete with dugouts and bleachers and a new concession stand. Job estimated at 5-7 million dollars.

And they can't keep a skeet/trap range open on a base?
