I had one when I first started shooting was a beautiful gun and performed well,I still have a SW 1000 field gun has been one of the most reliable guns I ever owned.Jerry

The SW 1000T is a great gun for the money. Unlike the field models it has a steel receiver and is solidly built. I had a couple of holes drilled on the barrel extension for a wire catcher, and it works really well. JM

Magnums and Super Skeets also had steel receivers. Howa sold the gun to Mossberg, but I don't know how many things got changed in the process.

One very tricky thing was the pin that served the function of a 3 shot plug. I finally figured it out.

I would buy another if I found it.
