Sid died today at 91. For those old enough to remember him on early TV, he was truly one of the first "dirty ole man" comedians straight from Vaudeville. He even made this kid laugh in the late 50's and early 60's on his Cavalcade of Stars with Imagine Cocoa.

My mistake. His early TV show was "Show of Shows" in black and white. He was also great in "It's a Mad Mad World".

Yeah, let's set off some dynamite in a hardware store basement. What could POSSIBLY go wrong with THAT?

Great movie. Classic.

Maybe the last of the old greats. Hope, Crosby, Benny, Martin & Lewis, Allen, Burns. Sid was the most animated and darn funny to watch.

RIP Sid...

Speaking of that, Milt...

Back in the 1980s we had Ronald Reagan, Bob Hope, and Johnny Cash.

Now we have Barack Obama, no hope, and no cash.

I agree Milt those are the greats.

Now days they would have to drop the F-bomb every other word just to get some tv time.
