Hi All-

The Browning Crossover I just bought for my son came with M & F extended Invector Plus chokes ("Diana Grade," I think). What would be the ideal setup for this gun for the three games (singles, doubles, and handicap at 19-20 yds.)? If I am going to buy additional chokes, should I stick with Browning or look at another brand?

Thanks!

I'm guessing yours are Midas grade - right (look them up - gold ring around the top sticking out)?

Browning is expensive. I bought skeet from Briley (flush mount but much lower cost & a good tube) for skeet & sporting.
16 yard trap - I stay with Full.
Doubles - modified 1st bird and full on 2nd.
Handicap - full.
I also found that my Midas grade tubes were tighter than the old straight "Invector".

I also moved to an adjustable comb (Crossover butt stock is tapered front to back - can't have that in any game - my opinion) and adjustable Kick-ezz pad.
Put it on pattern paper, whatever you do. That'll help you pull everything together.
