The cheek piece to my early (2005) PFS has separated from the stainless steel backing plate. It appears it was originally epoxied to the plate with an off white epoxy. Has anyone re-glued one of these? If so, what did you use? Was it successful?
Thanks,
jim

the newer ones have screws that hold the plate to the cheek piece, if i had to reglue and older one you can try acraglass or epoxy or just buy a new cheek piece

Jim, JB Weld will work fine. I had to do something similar years ago to a buddy's gun and to date it is still holding strong. No big science project. Good luck and good shooting, Rey

Lesson Learned;
Did repair with 5000 psi marine epoxy, worked fine and appears to hold. However, I was sloppy and got epoxy in slide track for adjustment screws: working on clean out now.

Cleaned out epoxy and repair appears to be holding. Will test, then determine if it hold up. If not plan B will be to add #6 FHMS tapped in to stainless steel backing plate.
