Has anyone had any experiences with these? Are they junk or the best thing on the market? $625.00 will buy one.

All thoughts appreciated.

I have one and love it.I`ve only put 200rds of wadcutters through it with no problems so far.I prefer to use Chip McCormick 8 round clips in it.God I love to see those big holes appear in paper targets..John.

The absolutely best sub $600 1911 by far. I got to handle and shoot a preproduction gun and it fed everything we could throw at it. The production guns have been just as good. I wouldn't even think twice for personal protection. These guns are nearly fool proof!.

I believe DPMS. The preproduction unit that I shot was made there, and I've not seen anything on the production guns that makes me think they changed location.

Looked at one yesterday and was not impressed. Bad trigger and hammer falls from halfcock position. Taurus 1911 was a much better feeling and featured gun for $150 more. Beavertail grip saftey, great trigger, ambi thumb safety, just felt better to my hand.
