I have an older 20 Ga Remington 11-87 with synthetic stock and forearm . So my question is : Can I use a stock and / or forearm from an 20 Ga Remington 1100 on that gun, or does anything has to be modified to fit Thanks

I only have experience with the 12ga. The stocks will work on either way, the forearm will not. Regards, Bob

The buttstock will work. If you’re going to wood from synthetic I believe you’ll need a metal spacer that goes in between the stock and receiver. As far as the forend goes, if it’s one from a 1100 you’ll have to remove some wood in front of the gas chamber for the extra space on the 11-87 barrel for the pressure relief system. If you’re handy you can make it work, if not it would be easier to use 11-87 furniture. Hope this helps.
