We have at the Silver Dollar a Remington 11-96, 12 ga., 28" barrel, choke tube(1), wrench, green Remington case. $650.00

You sure don't see these very often.

You should take a closeup of the rear of the receiver so potential buyers can see where it has been lightened.

And for those wondering about the short forend, only the wood and mag tube is short. The "barrel hanger" is in the same place as a regular 1187 barrel, so all 1187 barrels will interchange (thought IIRC the barrel is a Light contour therefore the forend would have to be opened up for a standard barrel.)

The purpose was to make a lightweight 1187. And they had an all too brief following for sporting clays. Too few were made. These make a nice 12ga upland gun too. Remington should have sold these with a 23" barrel for upland. Would have been better than the straight stock version.
