What year did Remchokes become standard equipment on 870 wingmaster shotguns?

I bought an 870 Express in the early 90's and it had Remchokes. Before that, I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure all express shotguns are Remchoked. The reason I asked is I just bought a As New 870 wingmaster 20ga with a 26" Imp Cyl barrel. It has the black loading gate an I assume it was built in the 80's. Just wondering when Remchokes became standard.

According to Wikipedia, Remchokes were introduced in 1986. see link. Mark
