Having trouble adjusting ( moving down and creating an angle ) the recoil pad. Allen wrenches that came with unit ( new Remington ) won't engage with anything. Another owner says it isn't adjustable but understand Rem . And jack West to say it is.

Unit is Rem 1100 Comp. Synthetic

use a very small phillips screwdriver to remove the pad - it does not come off with the supplied Allen wrenches.

Once off, you can see the plate, then use the allen wrench to loosen one or both screws, then adjust and tighten, then reattach pad.

Note - you may be able to just loosen one screw on the pad, then swing it down and make your adjustments. The screw(s) should stay in place in the pad and not fall out.

Hope this helps for you!

Some of these guns have phillips head screws holding the pad on because Remington lost the allen heads we sent them and substituted the p.h.
