hi folks,
looking to replace my rem 1100 stock. will and 870 stock fit with a different bolt? thanks....dan12ga

The older 870 stocks used a short bolt and need to be modified to fit an 1100. You need a spacer to be able to tighten the stock against the longer 1100 recoil spring tube threads. The newer stocks were designed to fit both 870s (with a longer bolt) and 1100/11-87s. Mark
