I thinking of purchasing a Rem. 3200 O/U without updates done. Who does the updateing of the reciver and forearm latch and what does it cost for each on Rem. 3200 O/U shotguns? Thanks, Bob

Bob, Laib's is the only one with parts anymore. They are found in the Trap and Field mag. I'm not sure about costs. More than likely about $450 plus forearm, maybe? Best guess. Just so you know a 3200 in good shape with ave. use and wear sells for $1300 or so. That is with the updates. Good Luck and Break-em all. Jeff

Last time I checked....receiver update, firing pin hole update, and forend iron update, was just over $800.

woodski, this is a link to a post I did I long time ago on www.shotgunworld on the 3200. I think it will give you some good info on what to watch for when buying one.

I would suggest, a 3200 without receiver updates to pay no more than $700. If the receiver updates have been done you can go up to 1500 if it is in nice shape and nice wood. I payed around 700 for firing pin updates and forend update. Call Laib's Gunsmithing LLC
