Don't know about CA, but I just had one done by Phillip in TX....Phillips Triggers on web....absolutely great job and reasonable...

i am sure that Phillips is the best… it is the shipping that I hesitate at. He wants the entire gun. I want to send only the trigger. Fred

I know you probably know this, but...I bought my 2nd DT10 with release trigger by Spears. When I tried to swap the trigger groups between the two guns, the Release trigger would not work in the other gun. My understanding is that the metal housing has to be altered to accomodate the release hook. Otherwise I would just trade you because I took the hooks off as I don't shoot release. Sending the whole gun is a pain, I agree, but probably necessary.

Fred what Jon said is necessary.

I recommended Phil because I feel with owning two trigger groups for this gun that he is the best for not only releases but also pull triggers. He is the only smith that I allow to touch my triggers.

But if your concerned about shipping, what part of California do you live?
