Our club needs new chairs. Have not found anyone who makes them, either in wood or composite. I saw an add some time ago in the ATA magazine, however it has not appeared in months.
Can any point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

We went thru this this year. The old ads in the magazines for "Advanced Sign" out of South Dakota is no longer in business. There is a place in Ohio for like 1100.00 each, we did not consider those. We bought bar height chairs in the synthetic wood look, there are multiple manufactures depending on what part of the country you are in. We bought the brand Berlin Gardens out of Ohio.

Ours are custom made out of angle iron with the seat, back, and desk made of plywood. The base has wheels on the rear so you can tip it backwards and roll it around. An umbrella holder rounds it out. Pretty simple to build if you have a welding shop nearby or a talented member. Not expensive at all to build.

We had steel ones made about five years ago. Steel prices are out of control right now. The cost of the steel is triple what it was a year ago. If you want a cheaper faster solution, look at wood. If you can wait, start the project in the spring. steel prices will be back down some.

Here's a couple pictures:
Composite floor, seat and back. Plastic top, Cup holder, Umbrella holder, foot rest, three short wide steps, the table top swivels out of the way, storage under the seat for a full squad to store four boxes of shells. Seat is wide enough for two high school kids or the El Grande Trap Shooter. Powder coated. We made four chairs all at the same time.

If over 30" off the ground they should have railings on them just like your porch at home. If the Demonrats see this post they will offer a railing kit for your scoring chairs that you will have to purchase from Hunter Biden LTD. Railing Co.for $1,500.00 plus $300.00 shipping from Liberal Trucking.

The score keeper is at the University of Iowa now. She only scores by appointment now

She shot trap when she was younger. Gave it up after a really cold spring day with sleet blowing in the faces of the shooters. She announced that "she was never doing this again". She finished the year shooting for the school and never returned. One of those days where the kids sit around all day in 35 degree weather waiting to shoot.
She will come out for family shoot days when my wife and all the kids join in.

For those with a Keen eye, she is shooting 12GA reloaded Nitro hulls. One ounce baby loads at 1180. The AA Super Sports are someone else's shells.

Be Safe shoot well.

Quite a few of these at clubs in our area.
They are some REALLY good looking units. Where “our area” is and a ballpark price would be good to know information. Thanks.
