I've just bought a walnut replacement buttstock and forearm for a Stevens 311, 20 gauge dbl. shotgun. The forearm needs some wood removed where the barrels go. What type of inletting tool(s) would be best for this? I have weak, old shoulders so I'll need something that requires a minimum effort to do the wood removal. Many thanks guys for all your help.

I have used sticky back sandpaper on tubing that is a lttle smaller than barrell use rough paper for a lot of wood removal.
