I just traded for a winchester 101 o/u that does not have a recoil pad. Some say don't put one on I am getting older so I am leaning toward getting one any ideas on which is best I see the limb savers advertise up to 70 percent reduction?? Any recommendations ?
Thanks

Kick-Ezz. The Gooey pad's I tried I did not like. Carpeting
from the bottom of my gun safe sticks to it. Rest the butt
on the ground and anything it touches, sticks to it. They
also tend to break apart at the toe.

But they won't make them in the Rocker style. I shoot guns with both styles and I've found Gooey Pad is the softest, but plan on replacing it about every year. The Kick-eez you won't have to replace but I've found it is harder and hardens up more in cold weather. If you take the weight off the Gooey while the gun is put up, by standing it on it's barrel, they last a lot longer.
