Help w a Beretta Urica Trap Recoil Pad
I bought my grandson a Bretta 391 Urica Trap gun. I want to reduce the size (thickness) of the recoil pad to have the gun fit him better. The current pad is installed by a wire the goes into the pad around projects that hold it to the stock and allow one to install or remove the pad by pulling out the wire.
I bought the thinnest recoil pad that Beretta says fits a Beretta 391 Urica Field gun (the pad says Sporting Skeet). It does not install by the wire but by screws.
Can I install this pad by screws? What size and length of screws do I need?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks- Terry Sandlin
