Rad Pad vs. Gracoil?

Can anyone tell the difference between Rad Pad and Gracoil recoil reducers? Currently my son shoots a Rad Pad on his gun , which really helps with recoil and works for him. I have been looking at a new gun with the adjustable Gracoil comb and pad on it And wondered what folks thought of the Gracoil and how they worked. Thanks

I am not sure, but I think the Rad pad lowers farther. For me, that is an issue as the Gracoil doesn't lower far enough.

RAD is spring and hydraulic, Gracoil is spring only. I'd take the RAD every time.

I prefer the RAD. I have them both, on two differant model 12's, and the RAD works better for me. The RAD is more expensive, but I think it's worth it.

Rads a good product, I purchased a gun with one installed and took a gun over to them and watched them install another unit on one of my other guns

I have 2 RADs and one Gracoil and like the RAD better. It is also easier to adjust.

Thanks for the information. Seems pretty unanimous that the Rad is the way to go
