The flipgate is bound up on my PW800+. You know, the little sheetmetal part that rotates back n forth to catch the dropping spent primer. Need to get it off the machine to try and free it up. Its not obvious to me how it comes off. Does anyone know the steps involved for removal ?
thanks.

The complete assembly is held in place with screws that go in tapped holes in the underside of the cross head. they’re Allen head screws and you may need a ball type Allen wrench to get them out easily

IT is held in place with a button head screw. It takes a 1/8" allen wrench. It is difficult to reach. It is sometimes easier to take the cotter pin out of the assembly to reach it. Be careful, it bends easily and will then stick. Regards, Bob

Just remove the mounting screw and straighten it out. Far easier than removing the cotter pin and dealing with the spring.

Be careful when using “ball type” Allen wrench sets. They tend to deform the set screw heads and cause bigger problems. High quality straight wrenches are best if you can get them in.
