Has anyone had any experience with Pure Gold chokes? I came across one of their shooters at a ATA shoot.

I had a set of Optimas for a 391. They are fine chokes. Not sure which top trapshooters use them, but Anthony Matarese, Jr. does. I believe he mainly uses the 15. A friend of mine has that choke, and calls it his "Anthony Choke."

I've known Bill Davis ,the owner of Pure Gold, since he has been in the choke tube business.I shoot his chokes in my Remington's exclusively because in my opinion they the best made on the open market versus the custom tubes you pay big money for.I've made more money shooting sporting clays with my 870 PG chokes than I ever did with any others. The patterns are A-1 in these chokes.Bill started making chokes for turkey hunting and evolved into the shooting sports because he studied patterns of most chokes and found nothing was to his liking,so PureGold was born.If you look online for the site it's game acessories.com .you won't be dissapointed by their high quality and reasonable prices.

10 for sporting clays or the first shot of doubles. 25 for handicap, but a nice tight choke for singles, too. You don't want anything tighter for trap.
A good deal for the chokes. Half price.

I shoot .10 and .20 PG and have never felt under choked at sporting clays.
If they build chokes without the ports I'll be all over those.

In the recent National Sporting Clays championship, a number 15 Pure Gold Optima choke was used by the women's champion and the men's runner up.
