I have a Hornady Powder Scale thats approximately 12 years old. I keep it clean and covered when not in use. It has worked like a gem for all these years until a week or so. Here's my problem: If I desire to load 18 grains of powder and set the scale up for that number, when I dump the powder in the silver tray I have to give the long arm of the scale a "thump" to get the scale to move. It happens all the time now even after I have attained the exact 18 grains that show on the scale. The scale has not been dropped, hit, dirty or monkeyed with. I cleaned the scale with gun scrubber, wiped down very carefully. I cant find anything loose. I have checked the balance level of the small shelf I keep it on and it's level. Any ideas folks? Thnks, Jack
