The price of gas down here in S. Fla. just went to $3.00 a gallon and more by the busy areas like in downtown and close to interstates. These places are chargeing like $3.10 a gallon now. How high did it go in your area's last year? and how much do you think that it go to this summer. I hope it stops soon. It is putting a real damper on my shooting. I was thinking about going to a shoot tomarrow, but may not go because it is one of the farthest clubs from my house. I would like to get opinions on the gas prices from all over the country. In particularly in California, and the big citys the windy city, New York and the like. Thanks in advance. Break-em all. Jeff

2.99 at Costco other cheaper gas runs 3.12 to 3.15. We do not allow anybody to pump their own gas in Oregon so part of the price is for a pump jockey to pump it for you. Jeff

Here in West KY local 2.79, then 10 miles down the road 2.89, then 15 more miles down the road 2.59 I can't believe it was that price today but I had filled up for 2.69 after I left a shoot about 60 miles away and when I went by the 2.59 place I was tempted to top it off but it wouldn't had took 5 gallons so I kept on trucking.

Went up to $2.79 here, but you can get it at Safeway for $2.69 if you spend $50 in the store on groceries.

Rapid City SD - Near Mt. Rushmore, so it will go higher as summer approaches so the three local oil dealers can gouge the tourists.

It's only about $2.75 around here but I wish it were higher. It needs to go to at least $7.00 per gallon to stop that horrid global warming. The higher it goes, the more I like it.

South MS, 2.90 , on the coast 3.01, at the end of the summer i wouldnt doubt if its 3.60, then in the fall the cost will fall back to 3.00 and the oil companies will say, look, we dropped it 60 cents a gallon. They are laughing all the way to the bank, i know i work for them. Now they can give their CEO's several more millions for bonuses.

whiz white, I know what you mean when you say so they can gouge the tourists that is for sure. I find it very interesting at the vast differences of the prices of gas from the different areas. Please let me know what your prices are? How much higher than norm in your area do you think that it might go for the higher priced summer blend of fuel. The price of gas here just 2 months ago before the tourist left was about 2.35 to 2.40, now about 3.00 to 3.10, but I think it might go to 3.25 or 3.30 I sure hope it does not go higher than that but who can tell.Maybe you, have the inside trader info, lets hear it if you do.Break-em all.
