Have checked out their website.

What is the general consensus concerning the Precision Fit Stocks from Apogee Ordnance for trap shooting ?

I totally love them.. and use them for all that I try to help..I can get perfect stock fit EVERYTIME.. I also use them.. With 3 bad disc in my neck.. without them.. I'd be out of the game.. Vern is the BEST to deal with..He knows his product and stand behind each and every unit that's ever been sold.

I wish he made a grip for the 870 Remington.. I adapted a grip to Fugly..an old Steven 9478 single shot just to show a non believer.. it's not the arrow..

Shoot well and often.. All Good.. Mike

Well.. I can only say the BEST..if you don't need to change things up..They are far more adjustable than anything else out there.. if your wants are not much..as far as adjustments go.. The Soft Touch,Rads,G-Square,and my favorate of this group is Ken Ruckers Bumpbuster.. All also work excellent.. But.. don't look for nearly the amount of adjustment you have with a PFS..

Every stock you've ever owned..can be replicated with a PFS..unless your LOP is over 15.5" or under 13"... And the amount of recoil reduction and movement is easily adjusted..BUT.. you have to read the book..

Does the Precision Fit Stock work for shooting doubles -- or just singles and handicap ?

That is, does the recoil mechanism recover fast enough so as to not affect the POI/POA for the second shot in doubles ?

Wonderful device and backed by a honest company. VerN Brpwn is tops and will take care of his product. As far as doubles goes there are only a few who think they do not recover fast enough. I no longer even feel the movement. Jake

Can't speak to the wood-appearing ones posted on this forum thread. They may truly be real wood.

When talking to Vern last night, he told me that they had some synthetic stocks which were finished to look like wood.

I shoot doubles with mine and never had a problem with it. If you get one, read the instruction book a couple of times, then sset your gun up and experience the softest gun you ever shot. Colby
