Hello all.

I will attempt to update weekly for our shooters and for others to follow along if they like.

Our format is 50 handicap targets a week, with the 1st two weeks being from the 22 in order to classify teams into classes. With 23 teams this year we are probably looking at 5 classes. "AA" thru "D". Starting the third week, teams will be classified and shoot from yardage based on their position with in class.
I.E. The first place "AA" team will shoot from the 27, second place from the 26, so on and so forth. There will be yardage overlap between classes. In other words, the leader of "B" class may be shooting further back than the last place team in "A" class.

Big thanks to all 115 shooters who are willing to brave the sometimes nasty Colorado winter weather.

Week One.....Noteworthy News....4.2 Degrees F....BRRRRRRR!!!!!!!
Delbert, Mike, and their guys & gals did a fantastic job getting the fields ready in frigid temps. Huge kudos to them!!!!!

Another great week in winter league at the Pikes Peak Gun Club.

The weather was quite different from the 4 degrees we saw last week with temps in the 30s and 40s. With that came some pretty stiff north winds and jumpy targets. Some glad for the higher temps and some wishing for the cold and no wind. Welcome to winter shooting!!!!!!

Special thanks to Sharon Covington for bringing in FANTASTIC soup for all of us to enjoy!!!!! See everyone next week, weather forcast as of now is for 50 degree high and minimal winds.

Another fantastic weather day for winter league. 40s and 50s dominated the most of the day. Overcast skies kept the visibility of targets down a bit but the wind was basically non-existent.

High score of the week was a 48 and that was put up by four different shooters. Congrats to them.

Last note: I believe 1 team has lost a member for the season. So if anyone is interested in taking that spot, contact the club and see if it has been filled.

Have a great week every one!!!!!!!!
