making some 7/8 oz. AA loads using the gray AA wads. wad pressure spring seems to stick and spring makes a halacious sound when turret is coming down. never had this problem with any other wads. it is original spring and not broke.ram tube is ok and slides nice in housing.anyone else ever notice this. thnks howard and to all a safe and happy holidays

You must have an 800B/C/CVT because all the newer machines do not use a spring.

The newer machines have a wad ram that is adjustable, whereas the spring units were designed for the old fiber wads where pressure was required.

I am going to send to you the replacement adjustable wad ram when I return after the holidays - n/c. You will remove yours, screw in the shaft and make it 2 7/8" exposed UNDER the top toolhead.
