I bought an aftermarket over size tube set up off of this site that has a build in baffle, You might want to think about buying. It ia heavy duty plastic bottles that holds 25 pounds of shot. If you are interested let me know and I will find the information for you, I think the cost was just under a hundred dollars.

I can make you a set of reservoirs like these:






The powder reservoir has a built in baffle.

These reservoirs are securely attached to the measure so you can remove the resrevoirs and measure as a unit loaded with powder and shot and invert the assembly to change bushings.

The cost is $90.00 plus shipping.

Oh boy they do look nice! I have a $50 MEC 600. Was just looking at one of the gizmos that screws on a MEC bottle.

i have used both,,thru away the plastic,,,work or not i dont know but it moves the bottle up in the bottle support,,i like that

With the original bottles, no, a baffle won't do much of anything. I still have a 600 though I haven't used it much the last 10 years. So yeah, forget about it. Top off the powder when it gets about 3/4 or so of the way down.
