As some of you know I do Taxidermy part time and specifically birds and wholesale work for other taxidermist. I sent my sons bear out to one of them because one I didn't have a shop due to moving and two this guy does great life size mammals.
9th largest bear in MN and shot with a bow.

Thank you. Yes great detail and eyes are dead on to. This guy does great work and has come along ways since I taught him how to mount his first deer 9 years ago or so. He has so much work he only takes in stuff from retuning customers now. He talked me into doubling my prices a few years ago and my business load doubled as well. We will see what happens now after this COVID crap.

Congrats to your son! Also congrats to the taxidermist that mount will take some awards! Lol that bear never knew how good it would look mounted.

I thought the pic right after the hunt was impressive! You taught them well, Reed and the taxidermist!

Yea 30 years ago when I was learning Taxidermy the guy teaching said try talk your customers out of doing black bear mounts like that Its just not them Grizzly's yes Polar bear yes. This one did walk up to his tree and let my son know he was the king in the forest.
