I just bought a Browning Citori, long tang model (1977). In anticipation of the gun getting here, I bought a PFS grip. Naturally, the PFS is for a short tang. I don't know if there is a PFS grip with the long tang groove cut out, but I am wondering how others may have handled this problem. Cut off the tang, replace the tang or take a Dremel tool to the grip are possibilities I see.

Any input will be appreciated.

Do not cut the tang, just dremel out the grip. It is easy to do but take your time. If you "slip" you can patch it with bondo and paint it...

Good luck, Mark
