Jack, it's a brace that holds the top tube to the lower tube to prevent flexing. Only for the newer generation PFS that has the thinner top tube. Good shooting, Rey

They're not expensive and I know I can buy it new. Always nice to help a fellow shooter in cleaning up stuff they no longer use from the gun room.
