Jeff......I did start the original post and I deleted all my original posts except the last one. I asked the moderator to contact me and he has all my contact info, and have not heard a thing. I wish now I didn't remove the posts but it won't allow me to undo the delete. I was so embarrassed that it was edited as a hoax I felt terrible being any part of it.


As you pointed out the edit was full of holes. The Fox31 News has run some very anti-gun reports in the past and they jumped on this story. I know they have a credible source or this would of never hit the air as breaking news. They quoted the attorney and said they spoke to her and she represented Mr. Perazzi.


I hope the news gets this corrected soon because I'm as confused as anyone around Denver. I see absolutely no reasoning for this as a hoax for anyone to gain anything. If it turns out to be reported as a hoax, by the news media, I hope the barbed treble hook that I swallowed comes out with the line and sinker attached for me.

Hey Duane,

I thought about deleteing my posts as well, but hey, I learned a lesson out of this. All of us got duped. When you see the Examiner p/u the story and then see the NRA Presidents pic and "supposed" statement, who'd a thunk it??

Hope they catch the scoundrel that floated this huge lie and involved the Perazzi fammily as well as the NRA brass.

This ranks right up there with shouting "fire" in a crowded theater.

No one ever said Ray was at the show on Sunday. Ray said that he "...was at the show...".

I see this morning the original news broadcast, that started all this, has been taken down. FOX31 News KDVR Denver must have some new info. Kim Posey and Hendrik Sybrandy I hope come clean and explain why they first broadcast it and now simply take it down. Everyone is owed an explanation.
