MX14L w/ tarnish like on bottom receiver edges. Is receiver coated in any way or can I Flitz away?

I was told by someone (think it was Pacific Sporting Arms)that my wife's SC3 skeet gun had a lacquer coating, so better ask an expert before using the Flitz.

Flitz is also going to leave your gun with a MIRROR finish, not the matte finish it has currently. Hope you don't mind a lot of sun glare directly in your eyes.

Mflora, mine has done the same thing. Almost looks like rust. Haven't found anything to completely take it off. Let me know if you try the Flitz and how it worked out for you.

Look at it close. The nickel plating is not all that great on Perazzis. I've redone a few because the plating began blistering and small spots of rust began developing. The same goes for Berettas.

Many white and SC3 Perazzis have lacquer coating. Probably it is what you have.DO NOT use abrasive paste
