I recently bought my first Perazzi, a MX3, and would like some help in finding the year it was made. I searched the internet but found nothing that would help me.

It is a MX3 serial number, 65XXX. I'm not sure what the other proof marks mean.

Thanks,

Tomas

Shouls have an AP or an AN or something like that under the monoblock. Let me know what that is and I will tell you the year.

I have two MX3s in refurb stages right now. Great balanced gun

did yo get the O/Us? Just a single? What? Post a pic.

Mia,

It has an AM stamped on the bottom of the monobloc.

It is just the single barrel. I shot it twice before I bought it, run the 16's and 24 from the fence, so I bought it. I'm taking it to have the stock re-finished this weekend. I usually shoot a Ljutic, but this gun sure felt balanced and has a very crisp release trigger (Timney I'm told).

I bought it for my son to shoot, but maybe he can shoot the Ljutic??

Thanks for the info,

Tomas

Ah. That worked out. TS.com picks up data inb a row to save space. It does not paste Excel or word as you see it simply because it does not rrecognize space as you see it on a page.

David would describe it differently, but that is how it works for me

I have two of these guns in refurb. One iwll look all original incl the orig bbl dimensions, and fthe other will be a nickel recvr and black Teflon bbl and nickel trigger guard and gold blade. That one is a Ct model. I will put pics up when I get them assembled.

Dollar shooter, did you know that Dan Bonillas shot a MX3 for years? Even after he was provided the opportunity to shoot a DB81 named after him and as a compliment to his Perazzi shooting prowess? But still went back to his venerable MX3. I really do not know the actual facts. I get this stuff in word-of-mouth piecemeal. But the MX3 is as well balanced because the receiver is lighter and less weight in the hands and more (by feel) in an unaltered bbl and regular MC stock. I prefer an under 9 lb gun and this is about as close as you will find to the nirvana called "balance"

And Legal Beav... I advertised on TS.com for my bbls and came up with them. You may want to try that. I shot some pretty good dubs wiht mine years ago and hope to once again. I have a plethora of release/pull combination triggers to figure out which one is best for my current mental state.I actually liked shooting the top bbl first, but also shot very well shoting the first bird with my FC bottom bbl and then the second bird with the top IM. I have R/R in selectable, top first in R/P, P/P in top first. So I will have some choices to shoot dubs with. And only wand to have some D-fun.

Ajax. Really, that is good stuff. I hav enever met DAn, but saw him shoot back in his heyday at Vandalia. But you add some real "Street cred" to the aura of the MX3. I will end up with two of them that will be virtually like new. They will be special. May sell one... Depends on what my SIL is going to shoot for leagues this eseason. He has gradusated form my 870 to my 11-87. But he thinks he needs a aPerazzi to keep up with his wife (my daughter). She is shooting my fave old TMX. Pretty well too. They have a 3 some of kids and shooting beyond leagues is kinda tuff. Daughter Erin. Hi-Lady Vandalia Hcp 1989 wiht a 98. Wisconsin All-State team.

And Todd (Todd and I are kinda neighbors)Doug Braker for nickel and teflon and Whiz White for blue. Doug is doing stocks fo rme too.

Buzzz me up anytime Todd. Days is 800-344-4840 and cell is 715-441-2384. But I am not a good cell phone pserson.

We can chat, and I can tell you what I know. Interestingly, two notable people tht I shoot with are fans of the Teflon and Nickel combination. It will look just like my BT.
