A few days ago I reinstalled a fore end on my Perazzi MS-80 that had been stored for roughly twenty-five years without anything stuffed in the barrel channel. The fore end fit very tightly to the barrels after installing the fore end iron and attaching it to the barrels. After installing and removing the fore end three or more times on the barrels and shooting fifty targets I noticed the bluing was rubbed off one side of the barrels. See picture attached. What can be done, if anything, to the fore end to cause it to fit properly to the barrels without rubbing them?
Well, I'll attach a picture when I can find the instructions on how to do it.
