The TMX came with bottom thread tubes. The back boring is likely to cause problems with standard tubes. Post a picture here, someone is sure to help. You'll need to measure the bore to find what you really have.
well the picture on Brileys web site shows a picture of a 2nd gen but it dont look like it the threads are at the top and 3rd gen on the bottom??? im so confused
That's why I said "factory 2nd generation". Briley is an after market choke maker, they can categorize anything they want. But if you are buying choke in the picture, from Perazzi, their dealers, or me, you better order 2nd generation.
The one you have in the picture is a #6. I have a #4 that I would consider selling and a Wright's extended #9 that I purchased at the Grand two years ago and only patterned.
I personally shoot the 7 from the 16's and handicap.
