Very hard to get an exact MX3 serialized owners manual. The MX3 has not been made in about 25-30 years, but they are an incredible gun. All the parts in the MX3 is the same as a current made gun. What, kind of info are you looking for?

Will snap caps work to keep the pressure off springs for storage?

Denny....

There are a few ways to release the tension on a Perazzi trigger. One of the best shooters ever, Dan Bonillas, simply puts empty hulls in the chamber and fires the trigger after his last trap. Ive seen him do this for almost 20 years.
Another way is to simply remove the trigger from the stock and fire the trigger but make sure the palm of your hand is close to the hammer as it falls as you shouldn't fire a trigger without the hammer hitting something.
I don't do either. Just leave it cocked. At some point wnhen I clean the gun I often remoive the trigger and stifle the hammer momentum with my thumb and pull the trigger. As I understand and have been told, it is the NUMBER of repittitions that weaken the spring. Not leaving it cocked. I change springs as I determine the spring has become weak. You'll find that when you install a new spring it is very difficult to cock it out of the gun. Whereas If it is easy to cock it, I replace it.
