SOLD--Here's a pretty nice Parker Brothers VH 20 bore for sale. It's in really excellent shape but it is not a collectors piece. It was refurbished totally by Del Grego some years ago. The lettering remains crisp and clear. Originally built in 1910--this soon to be 104 year old gun is ready for the next 100 years. The gun has 28 inch Vulcan Steel barrels that are bored ic and mod with 2 3/4 inch chambers. It's built on the O frame. The gun started life as a pistol grip gun, but Larry Del Grego converted it to a straight grip with the proper long tang correctly serial numbered. The wood is nicely figured, but not over the top for this grade Parker. The dimensions are 14 5/8 x 1 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches. These are perfect shooting dimensions. It has a nice trim beavertail forend. I have used this gun in the field and on clays and it's a fine shooter. The gun is tight, on face and the toplever is well to the right. Excellent bores and mechanics. The metal finish is excellent and the wood has only minor handling marks. No cracks--nice checkering and a checkered butt. I consider this an excellent shooter grade gun that can be purchased for $2950 delivered. You couldn't get the refinish and restock for that price! Treat yourself for the new year with a fine SxS that will hold its value. Happy Holidays guys!!
