Here in Pickerington Ohio the Vietnam Travelling Memorial Wall made its way into town today to be displayed.
What is sad is that on Monday evening an 84 year old veteran named Carleton Irish and 83 year old John H. Evans Jr were walking across the road from the American Legion Post over to the high school to attend a meeting about the Memorial Wall.
A van driven by am 88 year old man did not see them crossing and hit them, killing Irish and putting Evans in serious condition. There is a lot more to this story if you wish to read it. I have posted the link below.
