The HyVee Food store is giving free breakfast to vets on Veterans day.

I went by Applebees today to eat my free Vet lunch at 11:45. The line extended 50 feet out the door and down the front of the restaurant. I went to Burger King.

Took my 92 yo dad for dinner at Applebee's .... the restaurant was swarmed with people (45 min wait). And, they had a reduced fare menu for the Vet's to choose from. Left there and went to a fancy restaurant down the street ... and my dad got a $32 prime rid entree for free there !! Sturbridge, Mass

Golden Corral in my area (northern Indiana) has free meal for vets Monday. Nice gesture from all the places that honor us vets.
