Heard at the meat shoot yesterday that On Target magazine has sent out its last issue? I am heartbroke to hear this! It is a favorite of mine. I have found out about many trap shoots using On Target. I have the "last " issue on my table, and need to read it to figure out why they are done. Anyone else hear of this news? Corey

There is an On Target magazine, and also an On Target newsletter, put out by Western Clay Target News. Neither website says anything about going out of business.

I am speaking of "On Target" Western Clay Target News. The magazine that is printed on news paper style paper. Looks like it is true.

I called them and left a message about this thread. We'll see if anything comes of it. Mark

Yes, the one with the picture of Jim on the cover will be the last. According to the article inside. I will miss On Target, it was one of the best in the West.

Just got mine too. Both Jim and Wendy are having their hips replaced and the recovery will take their full attention. December is the last issue.

The last issue also mentions higher costs, fewer advertisers and a couple other items that are involved with the decision.. I read the last issue in Wallowa yesterday. Larry

I am sincerely sorry to see On Target go by the wayside. I have been a subscriber since Mark first started it, and have known Jim and Wendy for many, many years. When they took over the paper from Mark it was refreshing to see a new face for the sport. Both Mark, and Jim, did a great job with keeping us all informed here in the PNW. I had the pleasure to have written several articles for On Target over the years and Jim always was there to encourage me..... A sad day for shooters here..... Thanks for the memories Jim... Best of luck with the hip surgery, and I hope you both have a great holiday season.... Dan Thome (Trap2)
