I have been loading new nitro 100 for sporting loads 1275 fps 1oz. , bought some reloading stuff from a former shooter and there was about 2 lbs. of old nitro 100 . can someone tell me some reload data for the old powder for 1oz. 1275 fps . cant find it on internet anywhere .Thanks in advance Jeff

Jeff; It's my understanding that the weight remains the same.(old vs new) What is different is the volumn. So, whatever you're using for the vel. you like, that weight will be the same,what changes is the bushing you use to get that weight. I've used both and this pretty much holds true....Clyde

The old Nitro 100 had superb accuracy in 45 cal. target loads. The new stuff says do not use it in handgun loads. What a shame.

yes, and I wonder why?

maybe unpredictable at the higher pressure range of some 45 re-loads?

The Fulford load was a zinger; may become a boomer with the new formulation?

thoughts?
