Neat old film on you tube ( Clay Target Legends) Trapshooting and the South End gun Club in Penn.circa 1959. Lots of pump guns and several semi autos ( I'm guessing Remington model 58s since the 1100 was still way down the road. One guy shooting either a A5 or Remington model 11 . Most ladies shooting in skirts. A shot of what looks like a game of "slider" . Some really NICE trophies up for grabs back then. Worth watching if you're interested .

Yeah, that’s a really good video. I subscribe to “Clay Target Legends” channel on YouTube.
What’s going on where there were 8 guys on the line, then moved to not only different stations, but different yardage markers?? It looked like some sort of game they made up. That game starts at the 4 minute, 20 seconds mark of the video. I’m curious.

That looked like the way we shot Sliders. You started on even numbers, after every shot you moved back 2 yards. 5 shots per peg. After the 5 shots, you changed stations and shot your next shots and moved forward on the odd numbers. Continue and repeat until having shot 25 shots. It was fun back then with better eyes and reflexes. Haven't shot that game in many years.
