A friend of mine got hold of a website that wants to help Marines -
These guys (the sponsors) call you personally to screen you and simply serve as the go between - They told my friend they have 5,000 more Marines signed up than volunteers to write to them.

The youngest in this family from Florida (Ryan)is a stock car racer - his father Marcel will call you to screen you.

Hope you can help as they say they have more Marines signed up than volunteers - he gets about 10 calls a day from posts just bouncing around the Internet -

If you are interested or curious go to

Received the name and address of my adopted marine today. This program is terrific. They ask for no monies or contributions, just that you correspond with your adopted marine.

Thanks Again Gene

My wife and I just started doing this. We sent a care package with a bunch of goodies. Plan to do it once a month. I was in the Navy for 10 years, so I know how nice it is to receive goodies. Great program. Support our troops!

Ok Folks,

I just got the call from Marcel Rust. My band and I are adopting 3 marines in the same unit. We're spreading the luv! We'll be posting updates on our website and letters from our service folks, so if you want to follow along, let me know and I will post the link. Everyone get out there and support the troops, show'em some luv.

Thanks to all of the folks in the armed forces for their service!!
